Recuerdos de la Alhambra is a composition by the Spanish composer and guitarist Francisco Tarrega, who regarded by many as the father of the classical guitar. Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra) is a classical guitar piece composed in 1896 in Granada by Tarrega that has been recorded by many famous guitarists. The piece is selected as part of the repertoire for RCM (The Royal Conservatory of Music) Classical Guitar Level 9 Examination (RCM Guitar Syllabus 2011 Edition).
